Chocolate Oranges
We love Terry’s Chocolate Oranges but we could do without the sugar. Here’s an easy way to make your own without the guilt!
Simply slice 3-4 medium sized oranges in half, horizontally. Take a paring knife and cut around the edge of the fruit. Then, using a spoon, scoop out the fruit (saving for later), leaving behind the hollowed halves.
Follow one of our two tempering methods on the recipe page using a whole bag of Krisda Sugar-Free Chocolate Chips, adding the zest of 1/2 an orange (or you can use a few drops of orange extract), and optionally 1/4 cup of heavy cream if you’d like the final chocolate slices to be a little softer than the chips themselves.
Set the hollowed orange halves into a muffin tin and pour the hot chocolate mixture into each half until they’re completely full. Refrigerate for a half hour or until fully set.
Slice and serve!
