Nut Butter Pumpkins
These go just great next to the BOOnanas, your sweet Hallowe’en scene isn’t complete without Nut Butter Pumpkins!
Using your hands or a stand mixer, combine 1 1/2 sticks of room temperature butter, 1 cup of your favourite smooth nut butter, 2 packages of Krisda Baking Formula and if you’d like to bump up the colour, use a combination of red and yellow natural food colouring (4 parts yellow to 1 part red).
If necessary, refrigerate the mix until it becomes nice and firm, enough so to roll it into small balls, about the size of a very large grape. Using a toothpick, flute the sides of the balls to simulate the creases on a real pumpkin and finish it off with a Krisda Sugar-Free Chocolate Chip as a stem!
