Try these simple tricks in order to put some healthy treats on the plates of your favourite ghouls and ghosts!

AAll you need to do to make these fun treats is combine 1/4 cup of any Krisda Sweetener together with 1 tsp. of cinnamon. Core, peel and slice 3 baking apples and toss with about a tbsp. of lemon juice to prevent browning. Toss the slices into the Krisda mixture and coat evenly.
Then, roll out a quality, store-bought pie crust, (or your own if you’re able), and slice into thin strips, about 1/4″ wide. Wrap each apple slice with a few strips of crust, (leaving a gap for the chocolatey chip eyes), lay each out onto a greased cookie sheet and bake in a 375 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they begin to turn golden brown and the apples begin to soften.
While they’re still warm, (but not hot), insert two Krisda Chocolatey Chips into the space you had left earlier. Allow to cool and enjoy!
TTo make these, simply cut peeled bananas in half and push Krisda Chocolatey Chips into place (pointy side in) to represent eyes and a mouth. If you’d like the eyes to be slightly smaller than the mouth, simply cut the chips in half using a sharp knife.
If you’d like them to stand upright on a plate amongst a graveyard (of chocolatey chips, of course), it’s helpful to apply a dollop of nut butter on the base to hold them in place.
Some other options?
Try rolling them in fine, unsweetened coconut prior to inserting the chips. Or use popsicle sticks to make them easy to hold. Check out the Nut Butter Pumpkins recipe for a great healthy pairing for BOOnanas!

SSimply wash several green grapes (or red, or purple grapes, cherry tomatoes or even pitted cherries, any combination you’d like) and carefully thread them onto wooden or bamboo skewers. Make sure you push the front one last so that there isn’t a hole in its face.
Pipe two small dollops of cream cheese onto the face of each one and top with a couple Krisda Chocolatey Chips to complete the eyes. If you’re using cherries, don’t forget to use the stems as antennae!
These healthy creepy crawlers are too cute not to make! And they’re easy too!
AAnother simple one here… Simply use your favourite pancake batter by spreading in in a hot skillet into small ghostly shapes. Insert three Krisda Chocolatey Chips, pointy side down, as eyes and a mouth.
Cook until bubbles form and then flip and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute. Boo!
It might be a nice idea to place a large dollop of Krisda-sweetened whipped cream onto the plate with these and add a couple chips as eyes. Simply purchase a small container of unsweetened whipping cream (liquid) and add some of any of the Krisda Sweeteners to taste. Close and gently shake the cream until the sweetener is dissolved, about 1 minute. Then whip the cream as per the instructions on the container.

UUsing your hands or a stand mixer, combine 1 1/2 sticks of room temperature butter, 1 cup of your favourite smooth nut butter, 1 package of any Krisda Sweetener and if you’d like to bump up the colour, use a combination of red and yellow natural food colouring (4 parts yellow to 1 part red).
If necessary, refrigerate the mix until it becomes nice and firm, enough so to roll it into small balls, about the size of a very large grape. Using a toothpick, flute the sides of the balls to simulate the creases on a real pumpkin and finish it off with a Krisda Chocolatey Chip as a stem!
These go just great next to the BOOnanas, your sweet Halloween scene isn’t complete without Nut Butter Pumpkins!
TThese cookies are a simple (and spooky) adaptation of your favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe. Here’s ours: Chocolatey Chip Keto Cookies
The only trick here is that when you remove the cookies from the oven, use a toothpick to draw out legs on the still-warm, exposed chocolate chips.
Will your kids dare to eat them? We bet they will!
